Currently, commonly used strategies for parasite control in adult horses are based on knowledge and concepts originally developed 40 years ago. An American Association of Equine Practitioner’s Task Force has re-examined the recommendations currently used and produced a comprehensive, updated set of guidelines to help veterinarians develop improved strategies and programs for parasite control in horses of all ages
