California State Veterinarian Urges Horse Owners to Vaccinate Against West Nile Virus – 3/17/11

California state veterinarian Annette Whiteford is reminding in-state equine owners to have their animals vaccinated against West Nile virus, which she says continues to pose a threat to horses. The 19 horses diagnosed with the virus in the state last year were neither vaccinated nor had complete vaccinations.
