The University of California at Davis has released ten tips to help horse owners prevent heat-related problems in their horses. Very important stuff in hot areas, and very timely advice.

DR. RAMEY NOTES: Happily, at least in my experience, most horse owners are sensible enough not to work their horses too hard in the heat. Still, horses are not hot weather animals, and anything that you can do to help make them more comfortable is a very good thing.
